Nature’s Apothecary

What do your mom, significant other, kids (once they’re old enough), doctor, and the U.S. government all have in common? That’s right, they all want you to eat more fruits and vegetables. Studies have consistently shown a high correlation between a diet rich in fruits and vegetables and better health, lower weight, and lower risk of chronic disease. Fruits and vegetables provide vitamins and minerals essential to human health, along with dietary fiber, and phytonutrients (including antioxidants) that support and protect good health; while, for the most part, being low in calories and fats and completely without saturated fats.

USDA dietary guidelines recommend at least two servings of fruit and three servings of vegetables per day, and as many as thirteen servings combined. At the low end, that’s about 2 cups of fruit and 2 1/2 cups of vegetables every day. Minimally processed juices, like those made by OOJOO, can be a healthful way to consume some of this produce, but because juicing removes the majority of fiber from foods, it should optimally be enjoyed as part of a diet that includes whole fruits and vegetables and other plant foods.

At OOJOO, we are dedicated to producing the highest-quality juices possible from only 100% fresh whole fruits and vegetables. We start with the best and freshest ingredients that we can find and then juice them using an end-to-end cold production process that minimizes oxidation and nutrient loss, improves flavor separation, and better preserves the fresh taste of the ingredients compared to methods. The end result is the a fresh-tasting, nutrient-dense, juice that makes healthy easy and delicious.
