We’ve been hearing from some of you that you love Green Pear, but that you find it a little too sweet. With that in mind we’re looking at options to reduce sweetness as well as total sugar, while maintaining the overall flavor that we love. So far, the version picture here, which replaces some pear with cucumber, is our favorite. Basically, a heaping bowl of fresh leafy greens with a little pear and now some cucumber.
Feedback so far has strongly favored this updated recipe with a number of tasters commenting that lowering the sugar “unmasks” the other flavors making them more enjoyable. If we continue to get positive feedback during closed testing, we may test something like this in market in Spring 2019.
It’s probably worth mentioning here that none of OOJOO’s juices contain added sugar.
